Remont India (operated by Remont India Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) is a technology and service-facilitation platform that connects customers with independent service professionals ("Partners") and third-party sellers ("Vendors"). Partners and Vendors are independent businesses or individuals, not employees of Remont India. We connect them with customers for home services, home/appliance products, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) across our listed service cities. Remont India facilitates the booking, payment, and support for these orders; the work itself is carried out by the assigned Partner or Vendor, not by Remont India directly.
A booking may be made through the website, AI chat assistant, WhatsApp, or a phone call. By placing a booking you confirm the details provided (address, contact number, service/product requested) are accurate. Bookings are subject to Partner/Vendor and slot availability in your city.
You may cancel a booking any time before the assigned professional starts work, from the order's details in "My Orders." Once a job has started, it can no longer be cancelled through self-service — contact support for exceptional circumstances.
Refunds are handled under our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. No refund is issued automatically — every request is reviewed by our support team.
Partner applications are reviewed and approved by our team before a Partner can accept jobs. An "approved" or "verified" status means only that the specific checks we carried out were completed; it is not a guarantee of a person's character, criminal history, future conduct or workmanship. Where a service carries a workmanship warranty, its period is shown on your invoice; if the same issue recurs within that period, it is redone at no extra charge. If you experience conduct that falls short of this standard, report it through "My Orders" or by contacting support directly.
Remont India facilitates the connection between you and independent Partners/Vendors and is not itself the provider of the underlying service or product. Where services or products are provided by independent professionals or third parties, Remont India does not guarantee their future conduct or every aspect of their performance beyond the checks, commitments and warranties Remont India expressly provides. Remont India does not knowingly support or authorise fraud, theft, violence, harassment or any other unlawful activity, and may suspend accounts, cancel bookings and cooperate with lawful authorities where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms or other platform documentation is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any liability, obligation, responsibility or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or waived under applicable law.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (phone number, OTP) confidential. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is collected, used, and shared.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Remont India after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Madhya Pradesh.
